Mammoth Mountain with Chris's family and Tony...

Some Views from the top:

Chris on the slopes with a cheesy grin...

Tony on his knees

Tony at lunch... Same face

Jim...

Jim always does this pose without knowing it. I love it.

Terry getting her skiis on, the morning of the 2nd day.

On the third day, it wouldn't stop snowing, so we decided to go home before we got snowed in! Here are some pictures around the cabin of the winter wonderland...

Snow in Santa Cruz!!

I didn't have my camera with me on UCSC campus, where it was A LOT, but here's Chris's car after driving back home! I wiped it off so he could drive, but this is all the snow that fell during the drive!

Here is the front of his car, with a pile of snow!

Ok, so most of it is really hail, not FLAKES of snow. It's actually more dangerous, because it's all ice, so the roads are extra slippery. On top of all this "snow," it is the biggest lightning storm of the year! The thunder is RIGHT on top of us. Wish I had better pictures. Maybe if this keeps up tomorrow, I'll take some more.

Next Day:
Here's one more from last night.. It didn't come out very well. I think my breath is obscuring it, but those are my footprints in the snow outside of my house:

Ok, here are some more pictures from the next day. Most of the snow had melted, but here's what I could find:
Here's the view of snowy mountains in the distance...

Snow by a fence...

As you can see, it's more like pellets of hail than soft snow...

By Porter Apts...

And the Performing Arts Bridge (or is it called Kerr Bridge, I have no idea)...

I wish I'd had my camera last night. It definately snowed the most at Porter, where we were. There was about an inch or an inch and a half, while it was comin down hard. Chris couldn't see the road (Empire Grade) so we drove about 5 miles per hour!!! It was pretty crazy.

Meeting the Ex

Easiest way to make Chris sweat: Having a current girlfriend meet an ex-girlfriend. After hearing about the exes for over two years, I got to meet one of them. Eliza. She seemed cool enough from some chats online, but I have to admit; I was intimidated. I'm a 5'3 twig up against a 5'9 model and water polo player!! Not to mention I got a really bad cold a couple days before so my throat was very hoarse and I felt like crap. We were supposed to meet in an open, public area (at a water polo game), but for some reason out of the 20 fans that were there, we didn't run into each other! I finally got to meet her when she came over for a little bit right before the Oscars... And, well, what can I say? She was a monster! Just kidding! Of course, she was perfect. Anyway, I don't really see her as a threatening ex, but just another one of Chris's amazing friends. Hopefully, I'll get to hang out with her again, 'cuz she seems like a pretty fun girl.
